Entertainment gossip maven Ted Casablanca was ABD in entomology at the University of Georgia before becoming a gossip columnist. He says that the study of insect social systems is actually quite a good primer for studying Hollywood celebrities. In each case, he says, there is only the barest comparison to normal human interaction.
